Everybody’s dancing! Harmonix has released several new videos and a bunch of new details about Dance Central 3. As always, they’ve got an amazing line of songs, but they’re adding something new to the mix: A full fledged story mode.

Harmonix explains:

Dance Central 3’s newly revealed Story mode sends players back in time to learn classic dance moves alongside their favorite crews and characters from the series. Played solo or cooperatively with a friend, players will join the ranks of Dance Central Intelligence (DCI) to uncover a dastardly plot to destroy Dance Central.  To put a stop to the villainous machinations of Dr. Tan, players must journey through time to learn iconic dance moves from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and beyond. Can DCI master classic crazes like The Hustle, The Electric Slide and more in time to prevent the ultimate dance criminal from ending the dance party permanently?

I love that they’re adding an actual campaign into the game. It’ll be the first Harmonix rhythm game to have an honest-to-goodness plotline, and it looks kinda crazy. See for yourself:
