We know your excitement for Dead Space 3 is building and as a a little gift this holiday season, albeit a little after the actual holidays, Visceral Games will be releasing a demo. Starting January 22, 2013 gamers on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will be able to download this little gem. However, if you are an Xbox 360 owner and would like the chance to play the demo a week earlier than everyone else, you can go here.

Demo description from press release:

 In the demo, players will be thrust into deep space terror when unwilling hero – Isaac Clarke – and all-new co-op companion – Sergeant John Carver – crash land on Tau Volantis, an unforgiving ice planet teeming with Necromorphs.

Dead Space 3 will add co-op play, which will make taking down those bigger enemies slightly easier. It hits the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC February 5, 2013. Our European friends will have the game on February 8th.
