With all that’s going on with EA, they needed some good news. First, Battlefield 4 isn’t set to release until 2014 then their MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic going  free to play, the silver lining in the dark cloud that hung over the offices was that Frank Gibeau, EA Labels president, announced during EA’s Investor Relations call that they the pre-orders for Dead Space 3 were “tracking almost five times higher than Dead Space 2.” While some have criticize the game for going with the co-op way, Gibaeu stated, “We believe the new co-op gameplay feature is attracting a lot of attention and a broader audience.”

Dead Space 3isn’t the only title that’s doing well with pre-orders. Apparently, Crysis 3pre-orders “are roughly three times what they were for Crysis 2.”
