It’s a good day for comics, as Image Comics and IDW Publishing have both made some announcements that are sure to please fans of teh medium. First off is Image, who showed off a pretty preview image for the cover to the second issue of Nowhere Men, the Eric Stephenson written book about scientists worshiped like rock stars. The second issue will be out on December 19th, and will likely sells out just as quickly as the first issue did, so be sure to pre-order a copy.
Image also announced a brand new series by Jim Ringuet, called Repossessed. Focusing on a thrill ride of demon hunting, violence and action, follow Joe, Clay and Martha as they embark on a mission to repossess a rich woman in Vegas, a seemingly easy mission that becomes anything but.
IDW Publishing also announced a new installment in the 2000 AD series, with the upcoming release of Judge Dredd: Year One, by Dredd veterans Matt Smith and Simon Coleby. Join Dredd during his early years as he leaves the Academy and starts his career in Mega City One, paving the way for the evolution of a law enforcer that strikes fear into the hearts all over the massive metropolis. Judge Dredd: Year One will be out in march of 2013.
