Good news! Atlus announced today that they have shelved the plan to shut down the North American servers for Demon’s Souls on May 31st and, at this time, they have no plans to shut down the servers anytime in the foreseeable future. This is fantastic news for fans of the game and will give new players a chance to have the full experience of this revolutionary online system. Atlus has not ruled out the idea of expanding the servers if player demand and interest continues.

Demon’s Souls is the prequel to the extremely popular Dark Souls, and is only available on Playstation 3. Gamers can pick them game up for a cool $19.99 as part of the Greatest Hits line of games.
