During Gamescom, Yves Guillemot mentioned some shocking numbers. He claimed that 95% of gamers pirate Ubisoft PC games. He then states that the percentage of players that pay for content in a free to play game is around 5%. This gives some odd correlations between the risk and reward of free to play games. Yves says that all PC games should be F2P because the amount of revenue would be equal to that of a retail game with piracy. This video discuss if this really is a good idea.
