Dogfight 1942 Wants You in the Cockpit at E3
Posted on May 31, 2012 AT 06:48am
City Interactive announced this week that there will be a playable demo for the upcoming release of Dogfight 1942 at E3 this year. Dogfight 1942, formerly known as Combat Wings, is a downloadable aerial combat game that will be available from the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Store, and Steam. One of the games most intriguing marketing points is that it has the graphics of a larger release, with the pricing of a digital game. This will allow for players to get an affordable title that will offer up the experience of a big budget game.
Dogfight 1942 will allow gamers to get in the cockpit of over 20 types of aircraft and take part in missions that mirror those that actual World War II pilots were faced with. The missions will include a variety of objectives including: dog fights, acting as a gunner on an anti-aircraft site, and bombing runs.
If you are attending E3 this year and would like to get hands on with Dogfight 1942 the game will be available to play in South Hall, Level 2, Room #307. Or you can wait until the release later this year and download it on your console of choice.
