Despite it being known for quite some time that Dragon Age III is being developed, EA had not announced anything until today. Earlier, Mark from Bioware officially announced the game, and went into some details regarding what is happening with the game. Mark stated that the game will be called Dragon Age III: Inquisition, they won’t be discussing the story but mentioned the subtext would be a part of it, that it is being developed by some of the DA:O and DA2 team (which was expected,) and that they’re using the Frostbite 2.0 engine to develop the game.
We’ll have more information as it is available.
