Dragon Resurrection Debuts With Dark Horse
Posted on July 20, 2012 AT 09:54pm
Dark Horse and DeZerlin Media announced a new title in a long line of products coming from the upcoming franchise, Dragon Resurrection. The book, written by Mark Byers, features the first ever Chinese-born superheroes to be featured in a multinational market and will include not only the Dark Horse produced comic, but also books, games, and even a movie.
The story is one of twists and turns, as a story unfolds after the remains of an ancient dragon are found in the mountains of Tibet. Jack Chang, a geneticist, is sent a copy of this DNA by his adventuring brother, Jesse, and they are forced to synthesize the dragon’s DNA after a rouge American general attempts to use the remains to his own motivations. This power play forces the brothers to create a new generation of living dragons and stop the general from building his own empire.
This daring and complex tale is set to create a grand stage of wonder and intrigue, and those wanting to take an early look can read a 25-page preview here, or wait until the complete version is released in the summer of 2013.
