Announcing earlier today that FIFA 13 would be Kinect Voice enabled, EA Sports came back with FIFA 13 during their press event to reveal that FIFA 13 will be “the most connected installment” of the world’s biggest sports game to date.
FIFA 13 will connect with players around the world from their game console, to their iPhone and iPad that will allow players to participate in Ultimate Team or manage their careers from career mode on the go.
“We connect fans to the heartbeat of the sport—and to each other—through EA SPORTS Football Club,” said Matt Bilbey, General Manager and Vice President of Soccer, EA SPORTS. “We’ve had a transformative year operating as a live service, connecting players to real-world soccer events with fresh, new content, enabling them to support their favorite club, and allowing them to connect and compete with their friends. This year with the launch of FIFA Soccer 13, we are going to reward our fans for their support, offer in-game incentives to keep them playing longer and all season long, and provide new ways for fans to stay connected to our game across multiple devices and platforms.”
EA Sports also announced that returning players from FIFA 12 will carry over XP from their game and to FIFA 13. Players will be rewarded with special in-game items like kits to use in specific modes.
Last note from this FIFA announcement is that Lionel Messi will be the cover athelete of FIFA 13 worldwide.
