Announced not too long ago during the E3 Xbox press event; sports are making a bigger splash on Xbox Live, in case ESPN (which got a bigger upgrade) wasn’t enough, with the addition of NHL GameCenter and NBA League Pass.

NHL GameCenter has already been on the PlayStation 3 for a fews years now so it was only a matter of time before it finally came to Xbox Live. As for NBA League Pass, it’ll be the first time NBA games will be streamed through any gaming console.

Just like MLB TV, both NBA League Pass and NHL GameCenter will require separate subscription fees and there is no word as to whether or not you’ll need and Xbox Live Gold membership in order to access them.
