E3 2012: Turtle Beach – News And Licensing Partnerships
Posted on June 6, 2012 AT 07:29am
In addition to showcasing all new headsets at E3, including the MLG partnered SEVEN Series, Turtle Beach has had a couple of exciting partnerships to share with the gaming community.
One announcement was that the headset manufacturer will be developing officially licensed headsets for both Nintendo’s Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. The engineers from Turtle Beach will be working with Nintendo to produce products specific to the console and handheld’s audio needs.
Turtle Beach also unveiled their Limited Edition Call of Duty: Black Ops II gaming headsets! This is part of the ongoing partnership they have with both the Call of Duty Brand and Activision. Turtle Beach engineers are working directly with Treyarch to optimize every possible detail of the headset. The brand promises to create a product to compliment the multi-platform franchise title by including custom presets that will give players a leg up on the competition.
