E3 Hand-On Preview: Trion Worlds: End Of Nations
Posted on June 5, 2012 AT 10:29pm
Trion was all over the place at E3, showing off several of the new projects they’re working on. One of these game was End Of Nations, an upcoming MMORTS for the PC. While the game is still in its alpha phases, they were kind enough to show off some of the finer points of the game in a hands-on preview.
The game is well done, with the chaos of an RTS well in hand, but also keeping it in check of less experienced players, allowing anywhere from 2v2 to 28v28 gameplay over a variety of maps. With multiple classes and team types, as well as unique weapons and special abilities for each class, the game seems to really know what it wants to do, despite not being fully finished.
With a goal to have a complete, living world, with a constant struggle for dominance in mind, End Of Nations has an ambitious goal. But given the little bit that was seen at E3, they are very capable. Even the most casual RTS players can quickly get a grip on the game and not be completely obliterated, and the veterans of the genre have plenty to play around with.
Plenty of chaos and explosions, with enough for all type of fans, Trion Worlds: End Of Nations is set for a beta sometime in the near future, with more full, free to play aspects coming in the future.
