BitMonster Games has licensed Unreal Engine 3 for “Lili”. This impressive move from an indie studio is not a terrible shock, as the team are all previous employees of Epic Games. What is even more shocking and impressive is that Epic has been very supportive of their indie endeavors.
Designed for iOS, “Lili” is an RPG hybrid with an interesting way of dealing with enemies. Non-combat. That’s right, I said non-combat. For you iOS parents out there, this may be one to keep your eyes on! This triple-A looking title has only just recently seen the launch of it’s first trailer (seen below on BitMonster’s YouTube page), and it looks to be a very promising game!
“Epic has been extremely supportive of our new studio and in helping us build the game of our dreams,” said Lee Perry, president of BitMonster. “We set out to create an adventure that is appropriate for nearly anyone. As a designer, it’s exciting to see that the Unreal Engine 3 tools are better than ever, and they provide everything we need to achieve a gratifying and imaginative experience.”
