Forty minutes. That’s a lot of time to watch a video, but that’s also a lot of footage to release. But that’s what happened with Sleeping Dogs, the upcoming Namco Bandai/ Square Enix title. Once a reboot of the True Crime series set in Hong Kong, the game is an open world, third-person experience that also features the “Freeflow” combat system made famous in the more recent Batman titles. It also features some RPG elements and racing elements, making for a well-rounded experience.

The video that was released shows the first chapter of the game, which releases for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on August 14th. Take a look at the epic video below.
