Pandora’s newest vault hunter Gaige the Mechromancer in now available for download in Borderlands 2. Players who are part of the Premier Club in Borderlands 2 can download Gaige from the downloadable content menu on the Borderlands 2 menu screen. Those who are not part of the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club pick up the new character for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points. Gaige’s three skill trees seem to be a bit more complex than the rest of the vault hunters. Her primary skill summons her autonomous robot warrior called Deathtrap that aids her and her teammates on the battlefield. A good portion of her skills buff one ability at the expense of another, so players will have to choose wisely when building their character. Putting points into her Ordered Chaos skill tree unlocks the Anarchy skill that stacks when she kills an enemy or empties a magazine. This increases gun damage at the expense of accuracy and can stack multiple times. Reloading early will reset the Anarchy skill but activates Discord which increases her fire rate and accuracy and grants health regeneration. Her Little Big Trouble skill tree has late level skill called Interspersed Outburst that stacks when she is not shooting enemies. When she does finally shoot an enemy she deals bonus slag damage.
