Game Devs Get Medieval In War of the Roses Tournament
Posted on July 20, 2012 AT 11:36am

Paradox Interactive is hosting a tournament of champions for War of the Roses. The live streamed event will feature game industry veterans battling it out in the first ever US tournament for the third person action game. It promises to be interesting at the least, so make it a point to check out the live stream at www.twitchtv.com/paradoxinteractive on July 27th from 4pm-8pm PST, sponsored by Alienware and Razer.

The entire competition will be broadcast online through TwitchTV and will include appearances by a variety of special guests. With twenty competitors in all, the “guest list” includes SeaNanners, TotalBiscuit, Angry Joe, developers from Paradox Interactive, and “a team of miscreants from TwitchTV”. Commentary will be provided by War of the Roses Producer Gordon Van Dyke and my friend Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez.
Like what you see? Players can sign up for the War of the Roses beta at www.waroftherosesgame.com. See you on the battlefield!
