With Gamescom 2012 fast approaching, companies are beginning to announce their line-ups for the incredibly popular convention held in Cologne, Germany from August 15th to 19th. Namco Bandai has gotten their line-up announcement out, with a list of six great games that will be featured at the event.

Games such as Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition for the PC, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the Playstation 3, multi-platform games such as Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Star Trek, and the Wii U exclusive Tank! Tank! Tank! will be on full display.

Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition is full of dungeon crawling goodness, with intense battles and an open world, this edition of the hit game is a deep, adaptable experience that allows players to draw on the community to either help or harm the world at large in an attempt to save Lordran from darkness.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch follows Oliver on his quest to become a wizard and revive his mother after her death. With help from the creatures he meets and trains in the other world his adventure takes him to, this touching tale is sure to make players a bit sentimental while still delivering a great gaming experience.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors focuses on the adventures of the crew from the series itself, featuring many of the characters and villains that fans know and love, while still exploring the familiar universe.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is one of the most anticipated fighting games of the year, and will feature many of the characters that fans of the series have come to know and love, with solo and tag team fighting galore. It also introduces a new mode of play in the series, and serves as a jumping on point for many of those not familiar with the fighting series.

Star Trek is based on the newest film adaptation, taking place between the end of the first film and the beginning of the second. Playing cooperatively as Kirk and Spock, or in the single player mode, take the fight to the Gorn in this action packed adventure.

Tank! Tank! Tank! is a Wii U exclusive, with a wide variety of different weapons with up to three other players with tons of action and game modes, with weapons galore for all.

Namco Bandai seems to have a lot on its plate for the big event, stick around for more announcements about the upcoming Gamescom!

If someone looked up "awesome" in the dictionary, his picture wouldn't be there, but that's because he's too busy being awesome to pose for a photo.
