Sony held their keynote at Gamescom yesterday and used part of it to show off their gorgeous new, adventure game. Rain is being developed by Sony Japan Studio and though this really was just a teaser trailer, I was left wanting to know more about this title.

Judging from the tiny bit of gameplay we saw, the game will hinge on exploring the world, solving problems, and dealing with the “creatures” glimpsed in the trailer. Basically, a boy see the silhouette of a small girl in the rain. Upon awakening, he finds that he too is part of this invisible world that can only be seen when the rain drops fall upon it.

Rain looks very moody and the music gives it a mysteriousness and atmosphere that draws you in. I cannot wait to see more of Rain as information becomes available.
