Gamestop Announces First Ever Consumer EXPO
Posted on May 23, 2012 AT 04:00pm
Everyone who keeps up with the gaming industry knows about GameStop, the largest retailer of games in the world. Now, they’ll also be known as the only major gaming retailer with their own consumer conference.
Formerly only for employees of the company, GameStop is now offering paid admission into the nearly exclusive event, with PowerUp members (the GameStop paid membership) getting an invite to this special gathering. Members who attend can get either the regular attendance pass for $35, or the VIP pass for $100, with the VIP package allowing fans access to four sessions with some of gaming’s biggest stars, as well as access to VIP lines and a VIP gaming lounge.
Those who attend will have the chance to meet with some of the top names in the industry, win prizes and experience some of the biggest games before release.
The 2012 GameStop EXPO will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas on August 29th. For more info, check with the GameStop PowerUp Rewards website.
