Ghost Recon Online – Spooky Themes and a New Patch
Posted on October 26, 2012 AT 06:58pm
Ubisoft has announced a couple treats for you tricksters during this Halloween season. Their free to play shooter, Ghost Recon Online, has a new patch, 0.9.0! And you know what patches mean? New stuff!
First on the table is the addition of Clans, a feature that fans have been asking for since the games release so that players can get into a more competitive team based style of gameplay. The introduction will be slow going, but features are being implemented starting with the new patch. Players can now create and manage their own clans, use clan tags, and create clan symbols. A more competitive clan element will be arriving early in 2013. The upcoming feature will have clans going against each other in ranked/unranked matches and will get to have some bragging rights as they climb their way up the clan leader board.
Second on the list is the all new Beginners Playlist. It’s exactly what it sounds like, a safe haven of sorts for new comers to test and hone their skills with players of equal talents. You must have all 3 character classes between levels one and four in order to use the Beginners Playlist. But if that isn’t your style, no worries, you can still bypass this playlist and test your luck against players of all rankings.
Finally, Ubisoft is adding a Halloween event! Ghost Recon Online will have a Halloween Content Pack. The pack will include 6 Halloween weapons (only good for a limited time), Halloween skins, and different weapon stats.
