Qute Corporation, the people behind Eschatos and the upcoming Ginga Force, have made an annoucement for shooting fans. No, not the fans of games where you run around with a gun and blow alien hordes up that dominates America, but the game where you fly a ship (or in many cases nowadays, a small girl) around the screen, shooting items and enemies.
Ginga Force, coming out in October 2012, will be a pricey import; Play-Asia has the title listed for $84.90. They describe the title as
Qute of Eschatos fame has developed their newest game Ginga Force. Their programming and music staff came back to put this sci-fi shooter together. The game takes place in Seventia, a Solar System faraway from the Earth. The gamer pilots a giant mecha to war. The game contains more than 10 stages. Win parts at the end of each stage to customize your gear. Your weapons determine the difficulty level of the game, try out different combinations and challenge the stages repeatedly for new experiences.
The game inherits the shield system from the last instalment. New systems includes the unlock and the customization choices. The visuals and special effects becomes even more spectacular. The team also strengthened the story elements so gamers can dive deep and feel what the characters feel.
But why would you import the game? The Xbox 360 isn’t always a region-free title. Qute has announced the title will be region-free, andriasang reports.
While the title doesn’t look like it’ll be getting a proper American release, it’ll still be available for American players who really want to track it down. Unlike Otomedius, this is an obscure shooter that you won’t see at GameStop.
