God Of War: Ascension Announces Collector’s Edition And European Release Dates

European God Of War fans no longer have to wonder about the release of the latest installment of the franchise, as Playstation’s European site announced the release dates for the European territories, as well as for Australia and New Zealand today. Along with this news, the site also announced some details on Collector’s Edition content.

There will be two separate versions sold for the game, to go along with the standard copy, though no prices are available as of yet. The Special Edition of the game will include some pretty great things, such as a steel bookcase, a digital copy of the soundtrack for God Of War: Ascension, a theme and avatar pack, as well as a double XP bonus for multiplayer.

If that’s not enough for fans of the game, there will also be a Collector’s Edition as well, with even more awesome stuff. This cooler (more expensive) edition will have an 8″ Kratos figure, a DLC pass for content later on and all the other great content of the Special Edition.

While North American fans will get the game on March 12th, fans in Europe and New Zealand can now look forward to getting the game shortly after, with release dates for the game coming in small portions each day. Australia and New Zealand will get the game on March 14th, the UK and Ireland will get it the next day, on the 15th, and anyone in European territories not already listed get the game the day after the North American release on March 13th.

Experience a new breed of an epic franchise, as multiplayer joins the action and chaos that have already been established in God Of War: Ascension, exclusively for Sony’s Playstation 3.

Russ Pirozek, known as "Noobcrawler" to some, is a gamer and comic book fan who sometimes gets around to writing for DigitalNoob.com. He's also awesome. If someone looked up "awesome" in the dictionary, his picture wouldn't be there, but that's because he's too busy being awesome to pose for a photo.
