Grand Theft Auto V Release Date Announced
Posted on January 31, 2013 AT 08:03am

RockStar Games sent out a press release that would normally delight fans of the Grand Theft Auto series but it turns out that fans are going to have to wait a little bit longer before they get to play the latest game. RockStar announced today that Grand Theft Auto V would be set for retail release on September 17th, 2013. The game was originally slated for a Spring 2013 release. RockStar games stated the following:
We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.
So there you have it. GTA V won’t be here until September, but from the sounds of it, the wait will definitely be worth it. What are your thoughts on RockStar Games delaying GTA V? Good? Bad? Let us know in the comment section below. And for more on GTA V, keep it locked to DigitalNoob.
