Due to the popularity and hilarity of Grotesque Tactics and Grotesque Tactics 2: Dungeons and Donuts, Headup Games and Silent Dreams have collaborated to bring fans a lovely little spin-off called Holy Avatar vs Maidens of the Dead.
Holy Avatar needed a rest after his epic final battle in Grotesque Tactics 2: Dungeons and Donuts so he buys himself an island in the Caribbean called “Holy Island”. He takes his Guild of Maidens with him because every hero needs groupies, I mean, maidens.
But wait, there is something wrong on the island. It’s littered with the mutilated bodies of maidens. The Maidens are scared and Holy Avatar is shouting with glee on the inside because this means he gets engross himself in an adventure rather than laying around on a beach getting paunchy. Welcome to Holy Avatar vs the Maidens of the Dead.
Holy Avatar vs Maidens of the Dead will feature a Caribbean themed steel drum soundtrack, fixed camera view with easy zoom in/zoom out controls, and after listening the community, re-tooled graphics with new cel-shading and brighter colors. This PC-exclusive tactical RPG title will be released in September 2012.
