Guild Wars 2 has an extra special treat his Halloween with their special event: Shadow of the Mad King. In the general ball park of 500ish years ago, a real brat of a king named Krytan was killed by his country men. But that wasn’t good enough for them, no they went ahead and chopped his corpse to bits. Served him right given that he was a ruthless tyrant. He was banished to the Underworld, but there was one catch. He can come back to the land of he living on just one day a year. You guessed it, the Mad King will be back on Halloween! Take a look at the trailer below. The event kicks off tonight and will run until November 1st.
