Muggles rejoice, your chance to be a wizard in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry begins now! Today, Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment released their free demo for Harry Potter for Kinect exclusively for the Xbox 360.

The game allows the player to scan their face into the game to give them the unique experience of being in school alongside wizards during the events of the Harry Potter saga including Ron, Hermione, and of course Harry himself. The game allows for playing Quidditch, interacting with professors, and other students, battling death eaters, casting spells and much, more – all with the use of Kinect.

The demo features three mini-games to engage including Quidditch Match Seeker, Journey To The Lestrange Vault, and Destroy The Bridge. Harry Potter for Kinect is rated E+ 10 and is scheduled for release on October 9th, 2012.
