Zen Studios is taking a break from the pinball world and instead has just announced a new XBLA title, Castlestorm, which is best described as “a new breed of 2D archery projectile warfare and 2D physics-based structure destruction game.”  From looking at the trailer below it appears to mix everything we know and love about tower defense games, from destroying opponent’s castles Angry Bird style, to defending your own castle with ground troops in a more traditional tower defense sense.  The game will also let you create your very own castle to see how it “holds up” to attacks!  Play as either Vikings or Knights and use everything in your kingdom as a weapon including livestock! With such weapons as homing eagles to flying sheep its sure to be a crazy battle to the bitter end!! Check out the trailer and screenshots below!
