IDW Publishing has decided to take a very overdone subject and turn it on its head with the release of Fever Ridge, a brand new eight-part series about the battles in the deep jungle during World War II.

Follow General Douglas MacArthur as he and his crew of soldiers journey into the heart of the jungle to wage war on their foes. Written by Mike Heimos and Nick Runge, the historical fiction will follow the “Sightseein’ Sixth” Infantry Division as they fight, live, die and fight again in foreign lands, looking deeply into a subject that hasn’t gotten as much attention as much of the other facets of the war.

Also working on the project are a plethora of major talents, including Jordie Bellaire and Brandon DeStefano, whose talents are utilized to help create the beautifully haunting landscapes of war.

Fever Ridge will be available this February through IDW Publishing.
