Image Announces New Monthly Series “Great Pacific”

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a vast expanse full of the trash of others. This massive island is one that Chas Worthington, the heir to a massive oil fortune, means to conquer. Despite his rich upbringing, Chas wants to help the world, by taking over the massive pile of trash, not just to save the environment, but to sate his own ambitions.

The new monthly series, created by Joe Harris and Martin Morazzo, will feature quite the opposition to Chas in his quest for glory, including the tribes that inhabit the land, mutated marine life, and even pirates. While Chas’ goals are to help clean up the area, this is much more than a heartwarming environmental tale, with the setting becoming something of a character as well.

Be sure to check out the newest Image monthly series, Great Pacific, when it arrives on November 7th.

Russ Pirozek, known as "Noobcrawler" to some, is a gamer and comic book fan who sometimes gets around to writing for DigitalNoob.com. He's also awesome. If someone looked up "awesome" in the dictionary, his picture wouldn't be there, but that's because he's too busy being awesome to pose for a photo.
