Despite getting their start in films, Jeff Roenning and Jean-Paul Bonjour have gone on to create the hit comic series Alpha Girl, which is being released by Image Comics. The book focuses on Judith, the last sane woman on the planet in an apocalyptic series about zombies, among other things.

Roenning and Bonjour have done something special for this series, with the filmmaker in each of the creators being displayed with special covers, all homages to hit movies.

The first of the covers will hit with Alpha Girl #1, which will feature an homage to the classic film Lolita. Alpha Girl #2 will have two covers, the “A” cover being a take on The Graduate, and the “B” cover from La Femme Nikita. With the third issue, things venture to a galaxy far, far away, with a special Star Wars cover, and the fourth issue will be a tribute to the Bruce Lee classic Enter The Dragon, with guest artwork done by superstar tattoo artist Jeff Rassier!
