Image’s ‘Chew’ Gets Eaten Up
Posted on November 29, 2012 AT 06:25pm
The mid-way point of the planned sixty issue run of the acclaimed John Layman/Rob Guillory series Chew has already been gobbled up by fans a day after it’s retail release (sorry about the food pun, there). Issue #30 has sold out at distributor level, leaving fans who are unable to get a copy of this popular series’ latest issue need not worry too much, though. There will be a reprint, though not in single-issue form.
Issue #30 will only be found digitally as a a single issue after it sells out at retail level, leaving the only print version to be found in the upcoming trade for the series, Chew Vol. 3: The Omnivore Edition, which will be releasing this March. The series has come a long way, and is only halfway done, with the second half of the series coming with Chew #31 on January 23rd.
Make sure to rush out to your local comic shop and pick up Chew #30 before it sells out, only to be seen in print again through the series’ trade.
