Image’s ‘Fatale’ Now An Ongoing, New Standalone Issues Announced
Posted on November 27, 2012 AT 06:13pm
The hit series Fatale, by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillps, has been removed from the limited series status and placed into the category of ongoing series. While initially meant as “a novel in three parts”, according to writer Ed Brubaker, the ideas kept flowing and the series will now go “until it’s finished”. The “Curse Of The Femme Fatale” is an issue that protagonist Josephine has carried for years, whose fate seems to be tied to the destruction of the life of anyone she loves.
To celebrate the new status of the book, Brubaker and Phillips are placing the next four issues of the series as standalone “Flashback” issues that will give a bit of insight into Jo’s past, and how she got to the point she was in. The first, Fatale #11, will feature Jo’s first few years as a femme fatale. Fatale #12 will go in a bit of a stranger but more interesting direction as the series looks back into Medieval Europe.
Be sure to grab these and all single issues of the series, as they contain other tidbits of information, including extra articles, artwork, and essays. Continue reading Fatale, and now for a lot longer, only from Image Comics.
