Image Comics has had a few interesting announcements as of late, with some of their newest titles getting quite a bit of hype. First off is the Greg Rucka and Michael Lark title Lazarus, which is already being hailed as one of the best books on the market. Sales have confirmed that fact with the first issue selling out almost immediately, making way for a second printing of the futuristic sci-fi thriller that features gang-like families controlling the world, and their “Lazarus”, Forever Carlyle, a woman who seems to be able to come back from nearly any wound. The first issue is available now, with the second printing coming with issue #2 on July 24th.
Image has also announced that the Joe Casey/David Messina project The Bounce will be getting some extra love as well, with the story of the superhero slacker getting a special variant cover by Marco Checchetto, the current artist of the Marvel comics series Avenging Spider-Man. This special variant will be available on July 24th with the release of issue #3.
