Image’s Revival #1 Sells Out And Gets Second Printing
Posted on July 20, 2012 AT 09:54pm
There is a trend that is starting to emerge this year, as Image Comics has sold out at distributor level yet again. This time with the new “rural noir” series from Tim Seely and Mike Norton, Revival.
Seely, best known for his work on Hack/Slash, and Norton, known for his Battlepug title, have taken a new angle on the trend of titles featuring the undead, and it seems to have worked pretty well, considering its sell out. Set in a small town in Wisconsin, the story follows Officer Dana Cypress, who figures out a strange happening in her town: the dead coming to life, and picking up where they left off in during their time among the living, with a few differences.
Make sure to check out the second printing of Revival #1, when it returns to stores on August 8th.
