Image’s Skullkickers franchise has employed several adjectives throughout the last few months, and the sellouts working on the series are doing it again in June, with the announcement that Skullkickers #23 will have the variant title Dark Skullkickers Dark. This series has now become so sullen and depressing that they have to use “Dark” twice!

Writer/creator Jim Zub and artist Edwin Huang  have been busy finding fun and inventive ways to promote their hit title, and so far, they’ve been doing a great job. As they wrap up the fourth arc in the series, it’ll be interesting to see how they continue on this pace. Be on the lookout for Dark Skullkickers Dark #1 this June.
