The most adjective-laced Image Comics series is adding another powerful word to their already powerful title, as the formerly uncanny, formerly savage Skullkickers starts a brand new era (for the third time in three months) with the announcement that The Mighty Skullkickers #1 will be available on April 24th.

Taken from the press release for the title, creator Jim Zub had this to say:

“When we sat down and discussed the ideas at the heart of Skullkickers, we realized all along it should have been called ‘Mighty. Also, sales. Dirty, dirty sales.”

This epic series has been taking some major turns for the awesome as of late, and while there has been a new #1 every month for the last few issues, collectors shouldn’t worry. The “Variant B” cover of the issue is a collectors dream, as it continues the streak of issues for the series with the Skullkickers #21 variant.

It’s Uncanny! It’s Savage! It’s Mighty! It’s Skullkickers! Make sure to buy four, tell your friends, and make them buy four. It’ll be worth it.
