Image has done it once again, this time giving thanks to the hard work put in every day by those who help defend our rights and way of life. Writer Nathan Edmondson, with cooperation from real U.S. Navy SEALS, has put together a special new series that focuses on the lives of those who protect our freedoms.

The Activity is a new series that follows those who are a part of the special ops group Team Omaha of the Intelligence Support Activity. The book gives a glimpse into the training and real lives of those within the group. Edumondson, in an attempt to make the series as true to life as possible, even made a trip to Washington, D.C. to speak to some of the real life heroes the story is based on.

In keeping with the accuracy of the series, The Activity #7, which launched the new arc “Goat Hunt” that sees Team Omaha on a new mission to Uzbekistan, was co-written by actual Navy SEALS.

A trade paperback of The Activity #1-5 will be available June 6th, with #6 in stores now. The Activity #7 will hit shelves on July 18th.
