DC Comics is taking another foray into the video game realm, and into the fighting game genre with the upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us. Pitting superbeing against superbeing in an all-out battle for supremacy. There’s probably also some story-line explaining all this, but most fans are likely more excited about being able to see Superman beat down Batman, The Flash smack Nightwing around, and the like. At Gamescom 2012, DC, Warner Bros. Entertainment and the game’s developer, NetherRealm (of Mortal Kombat Vs. DCU infamy) announced a new combatant into the fray: Catwoman.
Selina Kyle is back in action, ready to use her agility and cat-like reflexes to whip (pun intended) her foes into submission. This trailer gives a short peek into Catwoman’s skill set, leaving little doubt that she deserves to be a part of this line-up. Injustice: Gods Among Us will release for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U sometime in the near future.
