From the moment Irrational Games first showed the gaming world Bioshock Infinite, it was obvious that the game was going to be something special. Fans everywhere have been dying to visit that floating city, to explore its hidden secrets.

The cover art has been revealed and while many people find it pretty, they are disappointed at the same time. Honestly, I would have to agree with them. It has the same basic formula all games have had lately. The artwork itself has been executed spectacularly but having the moody protagonist featured on the front holding his weapon… it’s been done before.

I found not knowing what my character looked like when I played the previous Bioshock games enhanced the experience because I could imagine him anyway I pleased. Now the mystery is gone for this next title. I am of the opinion that featuring Songbird and Elizabeth might have been a better way to go.
