JAM Adds to its Library

Everyone wants to a be a rock star. Introduce the dub step and music mixology fad, and all of a sudden, everyone wants to be a DJ. Zivix LLC, a technology company in Minneapolis has ushered in the game “JAM Live Music,” giving players on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the chance to create their own customized versions of their favorite songs.

Kind of like a DJ.

A finger-sensing technology group, Zivix creates a base of music customization through manipulation and improvisation. Including the works of Modest Mouse, Owl City, and Atmosphere, players can use their old and forgotten “Guitar Hero” controllers to control each song’s bass, guitar, FX, and synth. Gamers can create their own masterpieces, or improve current songs via Arcade mode and keep up with the multiple facets of a single song.

As of recently, “JAM” scoredd an 88 out of 100 from XboxAddict.com, so Zivix saw an opportunity to add to add to their success. Players are now able to purchase three new songs for their library on “JAM.” For different, but all very low prices, players can now customize any of the following:

“Savior” by Rise Against ($1.99/160 MS Points)

“Overdrive” by Jaytech ($1.99/160 MS Points)

“I Love to Loop” by Heatbox ($.99/80 MS Points)

Heatbox is actually a mix of organic sounds from a human voice produced by the group under “JAM.”
