Joe Got Game Begins Funding campaign for Shackleton Crater of Kickstarter
Posted on March 11, 2013 AT 01:40pm
Joe Ybarra and his new game studio Joe Got Game have just launched a Kickstarter funding campaign for their debut title Shackleton Crater. In this strategy game, players will be tasked with colonizing and exploring the moon over a 100 period in the near future. Shackleton Crater uses actual lunar mapping data and satellite photos to make this the most immersive space travel RTS yet.
Joe had the following to say about the launch of the Kickstarter campaign: “We expect that the community will really appreciate the scope, realism and excitement factor of the Shackleton Crater design, as well as the opportunity to become part of the development process.”
Shackleton Crater will be available for PC, Mac, Android, and iOS devices starting in Sroung 2014. Those who help fund Shackleton Crater on Kickstarter will be treated to rewards such as an early digital copy of the game, exclusive in game content, and the next two games in the Explorer series from Joe Got Game.
The Kickstarter for Shackleton Crater ends on April 10. To add your pledge to the $700,000 goal, be sure to visit the Shackleton Crater Kickstarter page.
