Ubisoft announced today a new bit of DLC for its hit music game Rocksmith, which lets players use a guitar as a controller, instead of a plastic guitar-shaped object with some buttons on it. The new expansion allows for players to pick up a bass and get going right away, as downloading the expansion unlocks bass lines for all songs included in the initial track list.
Players who have gotten other DLC as well will be pleased to hear that bass tracks will automatically be available for those songs as well. The expansions allows players to plug in any bass guitar (or six string, using four strings to emulate the bass) and will give players brand new bass parts, tutorials, pedals and more.
Bass players are one step closer to being real musicians (kind of), with the new Bass Guitar expansion for Ubisoft’s Rocksmith, now available for $29.99 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
