From Alan Robert, the writer of IDW’s horror comic Crawl To Me, comes a brand new story about a trio of murderers that find themselves locked up in the same jail cell awaiting arraignment. Each murderer takes a turn telling the others of the events which lead to their arrests. Coincidences start to add up as the three find that their stories are intertwined.
Do the main characters look familiar to you? They have all appeared in pop culture somewhere or another. On the far left is the likeness of Marky Ramone, who made some pretty fab music with his brothers as a member of punk band, The Ramones. In the middle is the comic book version of Frank Vincent, who is well known on TV (The Sopranos) as well as movies (Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Casino). Finally, the blonde chick on the far right is based on Brea Grant. She, while not as well known as the other two, is known recently for her role on Dexter as well as the role of Daphne Millbrook on Heroes.
“Basing my original characters on the likenesses of Frank, Marky, and Brea has been an awesome experience because I can actually hear their voices in my head while writing their dialogue,” said Robert. “I haven’t really seen this done before in comics and thought it might be an interesting and challenging concept to try. Much in the way that The Twilight Zone had celebrity guest stars at the center of its stories, Killogy throws three popular personalities into the middle of some very bizarre and horrific situations.”
A trailer has also been released to promote the comic, check it out below:
Keep an eye out for Killogy this October from IDW.
