Sony Computer Entertainment America made Playstation Vita owners happy this week with the announcement of the official release date for LittleBigPlanet. LittleBigPlanet for the PS Vita will be released in North America on September 25.

This is a completely new, handheld adventure, filled with exploration and competition on the planet of Carnivalia. Sackboy (or Sackgirl) will travel through a series of themed levels in a storyline adventure to figure out why a mysterious Puppeteer is stealing all of the joy from the LittleBigPlanet universe.

Players be able to customize Sackboy (or Sackgirl) and the environment with unique touch and camera Create tools. There  will be an endless amount of user-created levels and games to discover as well. LittleBigPlanet for the Playstation Vita will allow players to Play, Create and Share at home or on the go.
