Capcom has finally confirmed a release date for Lost Planet 3 so mark your calendars for June 25, 2013.

Lost Planet 3 takes players back to E.D.N. III and into the role of Jim Peyton. Jim is a blue collar worker trying to get back to his family. He is willing to take the risky assignments just to cash in on that hazard pay. Not only will you be faced with the Akrid, but all of E.D.N. III’s secrets will be revealed if you can discover the secrets hidden around you. Lost Planet 3 will offer a host of mulitplayer modes that promise to enhance the gaming experience.

As with the previous games, not only do you have to contend with the Akrids, but the environment will be an ever changing enemy as well. You will have a rig, outfitted with some new tools to assist you in defeating your enemies.

Lost Planet 3 will be released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC platforms.
