We very much live in a world where games are launched under the idea that the $60 that is paid for the game will not be the last bit of cash that gamers plonk down on said game. It is kind of a sad reality that we live in, now rife with “premium” subscription services for FPS games with their plentiful map packs, or games that have what feels like endless expansion packs. Never fear, Rockstar is doing a huge favor for fans of Max Payne 3 on August 28th by releasing the “Disorganized Crime” pack for free on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
That is a breath of fresh air, isn’t it? This DLC will feature a brand new multiplayer map, Hoboken Rooftops, and also some new modifiers for Score Attack in Arcade Mode. These new modifiers are explosive rounds, Lone Wolf AI and headshots only mode. Oh yeah, there is also going to be a Noir Mode for singleplayer, which lets you play through the entire singleplayer campaign in a stylized black and white mode a la classic noir films. That alone is worth the time to download this.
All of this can be yours on August 28th and entirely for free as long as you own a copy of Max Payne 3.
