Max Payne 3 fans will have to hold out for a little while longer for their new DLC pack. Earlier today, we posted that the Max Payne 3 Hostage Negotiation DLC would be released this fall but today Rockstar Games confirmed that the DLC is indeed delayed.
“Our apologies to Max Payne fans who’ve been waiting for this one and the other upcoming packs – we’re working hard to bring you this and all the other DLC and should have a release date to announce for this next pack very soon. To make up for the delay, all Social Club members can look forward to receiving a chrome weapons pack for free later this week.”
The DLC is confirmed to have four new multiplayer maps (Club Moderno, Estádio Do Galatians, O Palácio Strip Club, and Favela Heights) as well as additional weapons like the M24 Sniper Rifle and IA2 Assault Rifle. The Hostage Negotiation Pack will release later this fall.
