Fans of the MechWarrior series will now be able to test their mech piloting skills against others in MechWarrior Online.  Players can now head to www.mwomercs.com to sign up for the open beta.  When players sign up they are given access to four starter Mechs to help practice their skills.  These Mechs will change over time so players can get a feel for all the different Mechs and mods available.  Check out the beginner tutorial video below for an introduction to the customization interface and basic controls  in MechWarrior Online.
