Everyone is eagerly anticipating the new MechWarrior Online game. Who wouldn’t love being in control of a Mech? MechWarrior Online takes place in 3049 but it is a real-time, free-to-play simulator game. That means February 10, 2012 is February 10, 3049 in the game. Pretty sweet!

Players will get to take control of this Mech beauty, the Centurion,  and attempt to gain control of the universe. Be sure to go to  www.mwomercs.com to sign up for your pilot name.

Also, in celebration of MechWarrior Online’s impending release, you can get the chance to party with the developers at Piranha Games in Infinite Games Publishing. The MechWarrior Online Community Day will take place on July 27th from 5pm-9pm in Santa Clara, CA and this event is “invite only.”

• Be 21 years of age or above
• Be able to travel to the NVIDIA campus on July 27th
• Be able to cover all transportation and accommodation costs
• Have an invite and be on the attendee list – no entry will be granted for those not on the invite list
